ICELAND LANDSCAPE PHOTOGRAPHY TOUR

Join us in exploring and photographing one of the best landscape locations on the planet. Iceland is defined by its incredible and dramatic landscapes, with a large variety of landscape elements, including seascapes, waterfalls, mountains, Sand dunes, Glaciers, Icebergs, Glacial lagoons and ice caves etc.

And then there’s light! Iceland’s northern latitude means incredible light with the sun floating slightly above the horizon all day long with exaggerated golden hours. When you mix that with the abundant natural beauty, wide-open spaces, sparse population, sheer variety of landscapes, beautiful night skies and a good possibility of the aurora borealis, it makes for shooting opportunities all day and night.

Iceland is one of the best places to view the northern lights, with the entire island falling under the auroral belt, making It possible to view the spectacular phenomenon on the entire island when the conditions are right. The variety of natural elements clubbed with relatively easy access to view and experience makes it a landscape photographer’s dream and something on everyone’s list of places to see and shoot.

Come along with us, exploring Iceland and making amazing visuals.

October is the transition season and just before the winter, with the temperatures varying between -5 to 10 degrees Celsius. Iceland generally has wildly unpredictable weather conditions. As the locals say, If there’s one thing you can predict about Iceland’s weather in October, It’s that it is highly unpredictable.

This is completely subject to the weather and climatic conditions. October is usually a very time to witness this. Since we are spending a good period of time on this tour, the chances are pretty high, but not assured.

The group is limited to five clients and the group will be travelling around in a 4WD vehicle equipped with heating and winter tyres (if the conditions need it)

One will have some walking to do in places to reach vantage points for the best photography opportunities but nothing like one would on a dedicated trek. Some general fitness is what is required here

Since we spend a lot of time travelling between various places, we will have little connectivity with some places having no connectivity. This however requires getting a local SIM. Most of the properties we stay at or dine provide wifi
